The best thing about being an obstetrician and gynecologist are all the powerful women I meet along the way. In the privacy of my conversations with patients, I’ve heard the most uplifting, heartbreaking, infuriating, and enlightening stories. In this space, vis-à-vis their struggles and triumphs, I often saw myself and heard my own concerns.

I have now come to a place in my life where I am sure of this fact: Health is not limited to the care of the physical body, but must include the cultivation of an intact soul, and a free spirit.
